Project Details
Working on Princeton University property, Aaron Enterprises completed four rock crossings using auger bore methods and three 6” crossings using HDD methods. Founded in 1746, Princeton University is a busy school sensitive to pedestrian traffic. With limited room and restricted access, AEI could not service the entire excavation from the top of ground. A crane was used to lift a 50,000 pound class excavator into the bore pit to support the bore operations. All crossings were completed in early 2023 and the crew was requested back to fill the annular spaces of the casing with low density cellular grout.
