Project Details
Aaron Enterprises successfully installed 1,281 linear feet (LF) of 36″ DR 11 DIPS HDPE pipe beneath the Licking River using horizontal directional drilling (HDD). Drilling was performed through challenging subsurface conditions consisting of alternating layers of shale and limestone, and the borehole was reamed to 50 inches to accommodate pullback of the pipe. In addition to the crossing, AEI’s scope included pipe fusion and hydrostatic testing of the 36″ HDPE pipeline.
